The students of the Alliance Française in Beijing were often lost while trying to find their way to the classrooms and it was agreed that a better signage system was needed. We went with the idea of having a famous French character, and a quote from him or her, beside the classroom number to help the people to remind their classroom. Later on, those drawings were also used for promotional items and goodies (bookmarks, poster, stickers, badges…).
