For the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the French-Chinese diplomatic relationship, the French Embassy in Beijing wanted to create an original illustration for 2 public bus lines  in the Chinese capital.

The drawings were playing with historical references and clichés of both countries. On the front part of the vehicle, the illustrations of legs dressed in Chinese or French style, were displayed to complete the top part of the passengers sitting in the bus.
